Valleyfair of Awesomeness!

YouTube HATES me - for the last 4 days I haven't been able to upload my video I made on Monday... grrr....

Anywho - on to my life of amazingness...

Have I meantioned recently that I love life? Yep - it can kick you in the ass sometimes but at the moment it has decided to smile upon me! This week I went down to New Prague to visit my good friend Jenna and meet up with her soon to be roommate Kristen and jenna's boyfriend brad and two of his friends. Basically we all went and spent 12 hours together on Tuesday - and I haven't had that much fun... in well... forever? It was a situation (being that we had never met the guys) that could have ended up in two ways. 1- been pretty quite and awkward for the whole day 2- we could make some awesome new friends and have a blast. Well let's just say that part 2 won out!

I would really love to go into detail of my thoughts that entire day but in reality - I don't have time AND they are pretty incoherent (I tried to explain them to my friend Laura earlier today and failed miserably).

The only bad part of the day was that there was severe storms in the area around 5 o'clock and we were ushered into the imax where we had to sit for about 45 min. but it really didn't suck at all.. It was fun getting to know the guys better!

So the whole experience was sooo great but it made me really not want to go home but to go straight up to college cause i seriously miss everyone!!!

ALso I ready another book: Wild Rose by Ruth Axtell Morris.
Usually I try not to just randomly pick up books in the library and read them cuase they are so hit and miss but this one said historical romance in the binding so I was pretty sure it was safe. I literally read this 300+ page book in two days - and not ever two full days. It was really well written and incredibly compelling. It reminded me a lot of the books written by Gilbert Morris - he is a genius of the historical romance/christian genera! This book wove the two generas together wonderfully! I had my doubts starting out but the plot line held it's own and threw some twists in that I didn't expect. I would recommend this book - but it's not for everyone - if you like these generas then it's a winner - otherwise look at some of my other recommendations.

I will update again soon I promise!!!

Much Love and Hugs,
Chrissy
